What I'm Loving Wednesday!

It's Wednesday and that means it's time to link up with Jamie for WILW!

I'm LOVING that it's finally supposed to get above the freezing mark today here in Amarillo.  It's been too cold!  I think a lot of the country has been experiencing cold temps and snow.  Brrr!

Dancing Blooms Cardi  from Anthropologie.  I love this sweater!  I can see wearing it with jeans and tall boots.

Anchors Away Collection by China Glaze.  This is the new Spring 2011 collection and I love it!  "Sea Spray" and "Below Deck" are on my list of must-haves.

Preschool Backpacks from Pottery Barn Kids.  I'm searching for a "big boy" backpack for my son when he starts "school" next week.  Since his nickname is "Monkey" and am really leaning toward the red monkey backpack.  Cute!

Charlevoix and Lovely for Moda Fabrics.  Oh, how I love fabric.  I am just imagining all the wonderful things I can make with these two "jelly rolls".  Hopefully, my sewing machine will be getting a workout soon!

I'm LOVING my wonderful husband and my two great kiddos, as always!

Happy Wednesday!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I can't believe it's already Wednesday!  I think I say that every week, but it just seems like it flies by.  Check out Jamie's blog to see what everyone else is loving today too!

I'm LOVING that the new season of Wipeout starts tomorrow.  And to make it even better, it's "winter" Wipeout!  We are big fans of the show here at our house, so we're excited!

I'm LOVING these personalized labels for kids from Name Bubbles.  My son is about to start "school" (aka: daycare) while I student teach, so I'm ordering these to put on his clothing, shoes, cups, everything!

I'm LOVING this cleanser/pore scrub from Olay.  Even though I'm in my thirties I still get occasional breakouts, so this is great for cleaning those pores out!

I'm LOVING this book by Kathryn Stockett.  I don't know how I missed this one before, but I'm so glad I found it.  I'm about half way through it and love it.  I think sometimes I get stuck in a particular genre of books, so I'm always glad to find recommendations from friends and in blogland.

I'm LOVING planning my spring flower beds after reading a post from the Pioneer Woman.  After Christmas is over, I'm ready to skip winter and go straight to spring.  Last year I planted some stargazer lilies (pictured above) which are my absolute favorite flower.  I was surprised that they did so well!  They are both beautiful and fragrant and I'm hoping they come back this spring.

Those are a few of my loves this week.  Can't wait to see what everyone else is loving too!
Happy Wednesday!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

It's the very last Wednesday of 2010.  Wow, it seems like the year has flown by!  After a wonderful Christmas, I'm excited to begin a new year!  Head on over to Jamie's blog to check out what everyone else is loving.

I'm LOVING that 2011 is almost here!  It always feels like a fresh start and marks a new chapter in the book of life.  I'm eager to see what the new year will bring!

I'm LOVING this new foyer table my husband bought me for Christmas.  We don't have much of a foyer, just a small tiled area to walk into, but this fits perfectly and makes it feel like an actual entry.

I'm LOVING that my 6-year old daughter sat and watched The Sound of Music in its entirety this weekend and loved it.  It's long been one of my favorites, and I've been eager to share it with her.  She's been singing all week!  Maybe we'll try My Fair Lady next. :)

Honorable Heels by Clarks.  I'm about to begin student teaching and will be on my feet all day, so I'm trying to find a way to continue wearing high heels without ending up in these. ;)  These are supposed to be really comfortable, and I love the color.

Crocs Crocband Flat Plaid.  Continuing with the comfortable shoe theme, these are really cute!  I'm not usually a fan of croc shoes but these look totally different.  These would be great for spring.

Burt's Bee Lip Balm.  It has been incredibly dry here in Amarillo and with that comes dried-out, chapped lips.  This is the best lip balm I've found.  I really need to stock up because I think it's going to be a long winter.

Tori Amos Winter (full)
Uploaded by krishna01. - Music videos, artist interviews, concerts and more.

I'm LOVING this song by Tori Amos.  It's been around for a LONG time, and I think I love it more with each passing year.  It's an absolutely beautiful song (weird video, though), in my opinion.  Since we are just beginning winter, it seems appropriate.

Happy Wednesday!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW.  Be sure and check out her cute blog!  Here are a few things I'm loving this week...

Of course, I'm LOVING that Christmas is almost here!  I love everything about the Christmas season: baking, decorating, wrapping gifts, Christmas music and movies, etc...  We have so many fun family traditions coming up and I'm so looking forward to them.  Christmas is just magical when you have little kids!

I'm LOVING these necklaces I ordered from Sam Moon.  I'll be able to wear them with so many different outfits and they were super inexpensive.

Bella Paisley Pillow Covers from Pottery Barn.  LOVE these!  Such pretty color combinations.

Transform Your Mind tee shirt by Wild Olive.  I saw these on The Pioneer Woman a few days ago and knew I had to have one.  Romans 12:2 just happens to be my favorite Bible verse, but there are lots of other verses and designs.  This one, unfortunately, is currently out of stock, but I've opted to be notified when they are replenished so I can order one.  Check them out!

Gold Canyon Candles in Sleigh Ride and Cozy Christmas.  I've been burning these constantly here lately, and they both smell wonderful!  I used to be a big fan of Yankee candles until I tried Gold Canyon.  They truly are better, in my humble opinion.  (I promise I don't sell them...just a consumer!)

I'm LOVING all the sweet, encouraging, and funny comments I get from my blog readers.  I started this blog a few months ago to document the everyday life of my family and it has turned into so much more.  I love reading your blogs too and being inspired!  I'm so glad that I decided to start blogging!

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

It's Wednesday, so I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW.  Everything on my list this week is Christmas related, so we'll call this the "Holiday Edition". ;-)

Twisted Peppermint handsoap from Bath & Body Works.  I'm a huge fan of peppermint anything and this smells and feels so refreshing.  I bought the Vanilla Bean Noel and Winter Candy Apple too, but this is my fave!

Peppermint Cocoa candle by WoodWick.  (See, I told you I love peppermint :-))  I smelled this at Ulta recently and just loved the way it smelled.

I'm LOVING these new ornaments and silverware holders I bought at Cracker Barrel this past weekend.  (At 25% off!)

I'm LOVING that my husband's company Christmas party is this Friday.  It's a big, catered event with lots of prizes to be raffled off.  Maybe I'll get lucky and win something!

I'm LOVING that we are having an ornament exchange at our church on Saturday.  I love ornament exchanges!  I always get some great ornaments.  Plus, each lady is bringing a brunch dish so there will be some yummy food too.

I'm LOVING that Abby and I are going to see the Nutcracker on Sunday.  We love to get dressed up and go watch the ballet!

Happy Wednesday!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

It's that time agian...WILW!  I'm linking up with Jamie so be sure to check out what everyone else is loving too!

I'm LOVING that today is my sweet nephew Trey's 1st birthday!!  How cute is this curly-headed little chub?

I'm LOVING that tomorrow is my birthday!  I may be turning a few decades older than my nephew, but who doesn't love a birthday?

I'm LOVING that all the gifts I've ordered online recently will be here soon!  Yay for online shopping!

Garnier Anti-Wrinkle Cream.  I'm all about trying to prevent wrinkles at this point in my life.  I've been using this for a while, and it seems to work.  It feels good on the skin.

Rosette Heels by Born.  This heels are just my style and the rosettes add a pretty, feminine touch.

Have a great Wednesday!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

It's Wednesday, so I'm linking up with sweet Jamie for WILW!  I'm on a baking/cooking frenzy because I'm hosting Thanksgiving in my home this year!

I'm loving that tomorrow is Thanksgiving!  I cannot wait to see my family (especially my sweet nephew whom I haven't since June!) and enjoy all the delicious food.

I'm loving that Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cheesecake will be on my dessert table tomorrow!  I hope mine turns out this pretty.

Black Honey Almost Lipstick by Clinique.  I love this stuff and have been using it for years.  The formula is so light and not at all sticky.  It claims to be a flattering shade on every skin tone.  I'm convinced!

A Fine Fete Necklace from Anthropologie.  How fun is this cute necklace!  I love the colorful little pennants.

Oregon Chai Latte Concentrate.  I love this stuff!  It's a concentrate that you just add milk to, and you get a delicious Chai Latte.  It's like pumpkin pie in a mug.  Our local coffee shop evens sells this brand!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Good luck to the brave souls who are shopping on Black Friday!

What I'm Loving

It's Wednesday which means it time to link up with Jamie for "What I'm Loving Wednesday!".  The weather is starting to really cool down here in the Texas Panhandle, so I have been on the lookout for warm and cozy things this week!

Essential Cozy Throw from Pottery Barn.  Doesn't this throw look so plush and cozy?  I just want to snuggle up in it!  Plus, I love that it can be monogrammed.

Hearthside Slippers from L.L.Bean.  I love wearing slippers when I'm at home and am always searching for the perfect pair.  These look so comfy, and I love the color choices.

Embellish Your Story from Demdaco.  This is on my wishlist for Christmas.  These are the neatest little magnetic memo boards with a variety of neat magnetic embellishments.  I have the perfect spot for this in my kitchen (hint, hint Honey!).

Clover Mini Iron II.  This is the perfect tool for anyone who sews or crafts.  So much easier than having to bring out the big iron to try and press open small seams.  I love that there are interchangeable tips for different projects.

Lattice and Apple Pocket Pie Molds from Williams-Sonoma.  How precious are these little molds?  Perfect for making individual little pies.  I can just picture myself wrapped up in the PB throw, wearing the L.L.Bean slippers, and eating a little pie.  Bring it on!

I'm LOVING that the family pictures we had made recently are supposed to be in next week.  Can't wait to get them!

I'm LOVING that my sweet friend Bre came in 2nd place in a local cookie recipe competition.  Her "Easy Peanut Butter Cookies" are incredibly delicious.  She is going to be featured in the December issue of Amarillo Magazine.  Congratulations, Bre!!

I'm LOVING that it's almost Thanksgiving and the fact that I'll get to see my family!  Can't wait to eat a feast and spend time with family.

Happy Wednesday!
