About Lisa:
I'm a happy, thirtysomething wife and mama navigating through life one day at a time. I've been married to Casey for almost 10 years, and we have two beautiful children: Abigail (aka: Abby), 7 and Wyatt, 3.
I met Casey when I was 19 while I was finishing my AA&S in Interior Design (not interior decorating....BIG difference!). I had originally planned to move to a larger city to finish my Bachelor degree and pursue a career in design. However, plans changed once we fell in love. We were married 2 1/2 years after we met. Since there is not a big market for Interior Design here in Amarillo, I decided to take some paralegal classes and worked as a legal secretary for a few years until we welcomed our first child Abby in 2004.
When she was two, I decided to go back to school to finish my Bachelor degree and obtain my elementary teacher certification. I am about to embark on a brand new career as an elementary teacher while still managing (somehow) to run a household and take care of my family.
About Casey:
Casey is my thirtysomething husband and father to our children. He is an excellent provider and protector of our family. He is a hardworker, a strong spiritual leader, and an all around great guy. He is a deacon at our church. In his down time, you can usually find him watching football, tinkering around in the garage, studying the Bible, or working on a project.
About Abby:
Abby is our oldest and is one of the sassiest, sweetest girls you'll ever met. She is both a fashionista and a genius all rolled into one. She has been in gymnastics for several years and is a lover of all things girly. She's 7 going on 30.
About Wyatt:
Wyatt is just starting the "trying" threes. He is full of energy and does everything with enthusiasm and gusto. He is a lover of all thing boy: cars, sports, playing in the mud, and anything where he can be rough and tumble. He definitely makes life interesting!
